Hand soaps, get it?? Ha Ha

Amy of Sweet Sweet Life, actually found these little soaps first, but I had to get some. Marie, of Foliage is the fabulous creator of these. First off, she is a pleasure to work with, and second, I just can't get over how creative she is. They literally make you laugh out loud.

These are are completely hand made, so each set is slightly different with different hand-shapes & skin colors. They will be a great pick-me-up for anyone you know. My kids absolutely love them. They are consistently wanting to wash their hands with them. I know I will be back for more of these little hands of joy!

Stylish Dress book 2

I just found this book on a blog and I WANT it so badly. No one has it anywhere. I want to make the pretty, simple looking dress. I want to sew pretty clothes for myself. I wish I could make my own patterns, drawn from my own head, but oh well. Maybe someday!

Ooh so happy...

Well, as metioned earlier, I started a local social group for Etsians. I am absolutely awstruck by such a great response. I am so excited to meet a bunch of talented and like-minded individuals! They are all so excited for this connection too! We have our first gathering on Monday! Yeah!! I will have to let you know how this turns out ;)

Obsessed with sewing..

So, seeing how I am obsessed with sewing and everything that has to do with sewing (FABRICS) I stumbled across this awesome site. It's called Burdastyle, and it is a place where you can get a ton of free patterns. Mainly clothing patterns. Some are free and some are a couple bucks, but you print them out at home and "voila" , you create. I found a couple of patterns I want to try. The first one is called the Coffee Date Dress, made by a member of Burda. Here it is:

The dress actually reminds me of a friend of mine, Jen! It would be a great staple in my wardrobe and I know a great little out of date fabric store, Yardage Town, here in town where I can find some great synthetic fabric for the job. For the ribbon around the waist the designer used some beautiful velvet ribbon. I will search Etsy for some! I also found this great little jumper for girls...

Can't you just imagine this in one of the Anna Maria Horner or Amy Butler fabrics I carry?? I will make one and post it. They only downside is the pattern is only for a 2T, so you will have to upsize it for your child's size. Mine is a 5T.
I also found this great jersey jacket pattern, this one is free also. I love the idea, but I dont think I would make mine orange.

So I found some awesome free patterns..

I was cruzing the web in search for some good quilt square ideas. I am in charge of making my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary present. I am making a Family Tree wall-hanging quilt. I found this awesome website where I can actually create my own fabric designs! The website is called SpoonFlower. So I am going to have my hubby sketch up a family tree for me (I will post some pictures when I get it finished) And then Spoonflower will print my design on fabric, and then send it to me...Voila... I will make it the focal point of the quilt. Anyways, I got way off track.. I found a blog, I don't remember which one, but it mentioned finding a free Amy Butler pattern. So after searching like crazy, I hit the mother-load. I found free patterns for her Belle Quilt, Fabric Leaves, Business card case, Nigella Silhouettes
